Ang Grupong Pendong, USF 12.15.07
Ang Grupong Pendong consists of Pendong Aban, formerly of the Pinoy folk rock group Asin, and his wife, Chat. They played a benefit concert Saturday night at USF joined by students from SF State, including my brother on drums. Their music is powerful and fiercely political. I came away very impressed by their performance.
